We decided to spend our last full day of vacation at the beach for the whole day. We packed enough drinks and snacks in the wagon so we didn't have to go back to the condo until it was time to get dressed for dinner. When we first got down there, the beach was covered in seashells! There were a ton of them! Bryson loves picking up seashells so we got one of his sand buckets and spend a good part of the morning walking around and filling it up. Since I don't really care to go in the ocean, I just relaxed in the sand with a magazine while Robert and Bryson got in the water. While Bryson was building sandcastles, some other people were blowing bubbles. It was windy enough that they were flying over to where we were. He loved it. It was the cutest thing watching him in the sand jumping up trying to catch the bubbles. Around lunch time, we knew that if we went back to the condo for lunch, that we wouldn't come back so Robert went and grabbed us lunch to eat on the beach. Bryson wanted to go with him, but I convinced him to stay with me. I told him that we could rest on the towel and take a nap until he got back. I had no idea that he would actually fall asleep! I think he slept on the beach for a good 2 hours. When he woke up, he ate his shrimp and corn and played a little more before we had to head back to get ready for dinner. Since I take longer to get ready, I went to the condo first while the boys stayed at the pool and played. We always like to go to dinner at the Hangout when we go to Gulf Shores. They have pretty good food but so much for the kids to do. Bryson had a blast playing in the sand and at the water table. He also enjoyed listening and dancing to the band that was playing. We were trying to wait around for them to start the bubbles for the kids but Bryson was getting restless. Since it was our last night, we needed to get back a little early anyway so we could get everything packed to go home.

On our last day, we checked out of the condo early and headed to the Shrimp Basket for lunch. I don't know what it is about that place but we always have to eat there. Since we were both off work the next day, we were in no rush to get home. We decided to spend the entire day at the outlet mall. We got a ton of good deals on some clothes for Bryson and he got some new Crocs. After we finished shopping, we had dinner at Lambert's. Bryson loved it. He laughed every time they threw the rolls at us. One of the servers came around with a ketchup bottle and pretended to squirt Bryson with it. When the little red yarn came out, Bryson died laughing. He talked about that forever! It was really late when we left so we didn't get back home until after midnight. Thankfully Bryson slept most of the way and was out for the night so we could unload the car. Thankfully we got to sleep in the next day and unpack without having to be rushed. Bryson keeps asking to go back to the beach. I can't wait until we go back on Labor Day weekend.

Saying bye bye to the beach.
For some reason he wanted to make a mad face.
