June 2014

We had a pretty busy summer at our house this year. Bryson stayed so busy whether he was spending time with his friends at school, his Aunt Lisa picking him up from school to spend time with him, or with daddy at the pool. He became more confident in the pool this summer too. He learned how to float on his back, and he will now jump in the pool all by himself!

We started off the summer with Father's Day. We had lunch at Steak n' Shake with my family and dinner at Cajun Steamer with Robert's family.

I try to take at least one day off during the summer just to have a mommy and Bryson day. This year I let Bryson choose how to spend our day. He wanted to start out the day watching The Price is Right. For lunch he wanted pizza so we went to the Little Italy pizza buffet here in Helena. I was so disappointed this time. I usually love their buffet but this time they just didn't have much. After lunch, he wanted to go to the Lego Store. He wanted to make a set of Lego people to add to his collection. After the Lego Store he wanted to go to Starbucks and get a cake pop.  The last thing he wanted to do was spend the afternoon with Lisa and Eli on the slip n' slide.

We also enjoyed a ton of trips to Top It Off for yogurt after school. Bryson loves to go their and get the gummy frogs. He also finished his first year of gymnastics at Primrose. Ms. Tori got all the kids a trophy at the end of the year!

We ended the month of June with Will's 5th birthday party! He loves bowling so they decided to have another bowling party. Bryson had so much fun (even though he really had no idea what he was doing).  I think he had more fun in the arcade then actually bowling, and he won a ton of tickets! After some fun at the bowling alley we headed back to Robbie and Martha's house so we could eat cake and Will could open his presents. We ended spending the rest of the afternoon over there with my dad while Robbie and Martha went shopping for some gifts to give Will on his actual birthday.
