Decorating Pumpkins!

Bryson loves the movie Monster's Inc. so when I saw a Sulley and Mike Wazowski pumpkin on Pinterest, I knew we had to make them. We didn't go to the pumpkin patch until a few days before Halloween so we didn't have much time to decorate all of our pumpkins. I'm not a very good artist, and Bryson wanted to decorate a pumpkin with Lisa anyway, so we did the monster pumpkins at her house. Bryson was so helpful painting, but lost interest pretty quick. Lisa did an awesome job! We loved them!

I also took Bryson to Target to let him chose a design to carve our pumpkin. I was so excited when I saw Charlie Brown. We love Charlie Brown so I figured he would choose that. Nope. He picked the plain kit with random designs. He saw one that was a headless person and he thought he looked like a magician so he wanted to carve that. It actually turned out pretty neat! At first he was really excited to help, but as soon as he put his hand in the pumpkin he changed his mind. He thought it was "yucky" and didn't want to touch it! He still had fun watching Robert carve his pumpkin. Of course we sorted through the pumpkin seeds so we could bake them. They turned out so good this year!

And of course we had to make a Woody pumpkin like we did last year at Granna and Papa's house.
