Dentist

We have been taking Bryson to the dentist for his twice a year cleanings since he was about 18 months old. We would have taken him at the recommended age of 12 months, but he didn't have any teeth! I wanted to take him early to prevent any issues (I saw a ton of babies with bad teeth when I did dental assisting), and to get him used to the dentist at an early age so he wouldn't be scared. It has taken several visits, but finally this visit was fun! He loved it! He thought it was hilarious that they had a TV on the ceiling and laughed when she brushed his teeth. He thought everything she did tickled. Then it was time to attempt x-rays. we have never made it this far at an appointment because we have always had to hold him down. He was such a big boy. They were able to get some great x-rays. All of his baby teeth are in perfect condition and his permanent teeth are already developing perfectly as well. It is such a relief that he finally loves the dentist! He has been asking to go back almost everyday since we went.
