7th Annual Tacky Sweater Party

We kept the tradition going this year with our 7th annual tacky sweater party. Every year, we find the tackiest Christmas sweater we can find either by raiding our moms closets or going to the thrift store. When we first started this, I guess not many people did it because it was so easy to go to the thrift store and buy a tacky sweater. Now, it's become a thing and stores are making and selling tacky sweaters just for this purpose. Makes it harder for us to find stuff, but now we are having to get creative by making our own tacky sweaters. It's so nice to get together with all of our friends outside of football season and without kids. A few years ago, Robert started a photobooth which has made it even more fun. Now we take Bryson to the Dollar Tree and let him choose some tacky wrapping paper as the backdrop. After everybody has arrived we start Dirty Santa. For the past few years we have had the theme "board games and alcohol". This year we just did a price limit. Most people still ended up buying alcohol. As much as we love cramming all of our friends into our house, hopefully next year we will have our party in a brand new house!
