Bryson was so excited to go to Auburn this year for A-Day. He's not quite old enough to enjoy an entire football game yet so this is the perfect time to take him so he can experience everything we love about Auburn. This year just the three of us went. Most of our friends had just had babies so none of them felt like traveling. It was nice making a day trip just the three of us. We were able to show Bryson everything we wanted to in Auburn. It was rainy and yucky most of the day but it was a lot of fun. He didn't mind all the walking we had to do and loved going in all the stores and looking at all the Aubie stuff. He did pretty good during the game. Aubie kept coming on the field dressed as different superheroes and he thought that was hiliarious. We also sat pretty close to the band so he loved watching them play. His favorite song they played was the Star Wars theme. His face would light up everytime they played it, and they played it a lot. After the game we went to the Toomer's Corner area. Sadly we couldn't roll the corner. The trees are gone and they have begun construction for the new Toomer's Corner area. He remembered throwing toilet paper in the trees last year and was a little sad he couldn't do it this year. One of the stores had baby chicks and ducks and they were letting kids come in and hold them. He loved holding the little baby chick. We didn't want to stay too late because Easter was the next day so we grabbed a quick dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger before we left. That has kind of become a tradition since all the one's in Birmingham have closed. He was so tired from all the fun we had. Thankfully he fell asleep on the way home so the Easter Bunny could visit our house.

Spring Break 2014
Since we don't have kids in school yet, we have never really made any spring break plans. This year, we had some last minute plans. Robert's family wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium for the day. I didn't really want Bryson going without us since the last time he went was on his first birthday. Thankfully my boss knew we would be low on kids that day and let me have the day off. It was fun piling the family in our car making the short trip to Atlanta for the day. Our first stop was lunch. Lola wanted to eat at Gladys Knights Chicken and Waffles Restaurant. It was pretty good. We were all still stuffed from breakfast so we didn't eat too much but the food was delicious. After lunch we headed straight to the aquarium. I expected there to be a ton of people since it was spring break, but it really wasn't too bad. Our first stop was the sting rays. Bryson loved watching them and touching them. We practically had to drag him away! In that same area, they had a huge ship for the kids to play on. Bryson loved it! He said he was a pirate off to find buried treasure!
The next area had whales, seahorses, sea otters and penguins. I love the seahorses and Bryson loved the penguins. He got to crawl in a little tunnel so he could get closer to them.
The next area was the ocean area. Bryson loved looking at all the sharks and huge whales! He loved the shark tunnel the best. He loved the jellyfish too. I think his favorite part was this huge room they had where it felt like you were in the ocean. He hadn't had a nap all day so we just laid in there for a little while watching all the fish. After that room we went to a dolphin show. It was a little cheesy but good. Then we headed home! It was such a great last minute trip.

On our way to the next area, we decided to take a little break. Bryson wanted to get his face painted. He chose a purple dragon. He looked so cute! We also got a quick snack and visited a little gift shop where they had a Star Wars otter shirt. Bryson loved it! Down by the gift shop they had these little seahorse seats. One Bryson sat on it, he realized their was a mirror. He couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror! It was hilarious!
