On his actual birthday, we took him to the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, but before we left, we opened a few presents from us and our friend Abbie. He got a new Star Wars workbook, Big Hero 6, Jack Skellington for Infinity and a booster seat! Since he loves Star Wars so much, we thought he may like all of the space stuff they had. He had a blast but I was disappointed. It was a lot different then it used to be. So much stuff was closed off that we used to be able to go do. He didn't care. He enjoyed looking at everything they had. He got to climb a rock wall, and play a video game. There was a little kids area outside that he loved. It was rainy and cold that day so we couldn't stay out there for long. He loved this ride that they had to just rode him up really high and dropped him down. I have no idea what it was called. Before we left, we of course let him buy some souvenirs. We also bought space food for him to try. This was another thing that was disappointing. I remember going and getting space pizza and space fries. Now they only have space ice cream and space ice cream sandwiches. We bought both of those for him and he loved them. I'm sure we will take him back at some point and hopefully everything is open for him to do. On Monday, we took cupcakes to school to celebrate with his friends.

Bryson's 5th birthday
It's so hard to believe our baby is 5 and will start kindergarten this year! Every year on his birthday, we do something together as a family just the 3 of us.We usually squeeze in some time with our families too. This year we ate dinner with my family on the Saturday, the day before his birthday. Bryson's favorite food is pizza so when we heard that a new pizza place had opened we knew we had to try it. We ate dinner with Robert's family on Monday, the day after his birthday. We eat Joe's Italian every year for his birthday so he can get the strawberry cake. This year his birthday fell on a Sunday and they are not open on Sunday's so we had to wait until Monday to go. We got him a piece of cake to enjoy on his actual birthday since we couldn't go to Joe's.

Snow 2015
Once again we had a big disappointment in the snowfall department this year. We were predicted to get a ton of snow. Schools closed and we waited. We waited all day watching the pictures on the news of everybody else playing in tons of snow. It was sad. Finally late that night it began to sleet then it snowed for a good bit. It wasn't much but it was enough for Bryson to play in. He built a snowman, made snow balls and we made snow ice cream. All he wanted to do with the snowballs he built was eat them. All of the neighborhood kids were out playing in it. They are all several years older than Bryson so he doesn't play with them normally. It was so fun because that night they came over and helped him build huge snowballs and they all built a snowman together. When Bryson had finally had enough, we came inside and ate some of our ice cream and drank hot chocolate. Hopefully next year we will have a lot more snow for him to play in.
