This year Halloween was all about Angry Birds. It all started with costume shopping. We went to three different stores and let Bryson choose his costume. In all three stores he chose the Angry Bird costume. At Party City we had him try on a Spiderman costume since he loves Spiderman, hoping that he would choose that, but nope. He insisted on the Angry Bird costume, so we got it! When it was time to carve our pumpkin, he, once again, chose Angry Birds. He took his time looking at all the pattern choices and finally decided on the Bad Piggies one. He wasn't very interested in helping or touching the insides but he loved it when it was finished!
At school, we had a costume parade. Bryson had so much fun walking around with his class getting all kinds of treats.
We got an early start with our Trick or Treating. Publix always does something fun for the kids so we met Robbie, Martha, and Will there at 4pm. The boys got to play games, get candy and make their own cookie. They both had a lot of fun. I think they enjoyed playing with the ATM outside more though.
Then we went to Walgreens to get a free Halloween picture, then headed to Robbie and Martha's neighborhood to start trick or treating!
Once we finished their neighborhood, Robert was home from work so we headed to our neighborhood. It was total madness! I guess since there are so many houses, people drove to our neighborhood to trick or treat. We saw a ton of cars parked in one of the empty lots. I have never seen that many kids in our neighborhood before. Since Martha's sister Katy lives around the corner, we had to stop there and the boys wanted to play their piano again. I think that may become a yearly tradition.
When we were finally done trick or treating, we headed over to Lisa's to have dinner with Robert's family. Bryson had such an amazing Halloween! He was actually sad when it was over. When I packed up all our Halloween decorations he cried!

Fall Festival
Robbie and Martha's church had a fall festival for the kids this
year. We figured that Bryson and Will were old enough to enjoy the
games, so we dressed them up and let them go. They both had a blast.
They may not have understood all the games but they had so much fun
playing them all and "winning" candy. Bryson got to play mini golf for
the first time, he got to get a tattoo, he threw banana's at a monkey,
played Plinko, rode on a train with Papa, and he got to ride a bus for
the first time! I really think the bus was the highlight of his day
because it was all he could talk about. Here are a few pictures from
Bryson's first fall festival.
